YOUR NEXT ORDER

Let’s run the numbers.

Sample figures are loaded. Replace them with your sliced batch and your own rates.

01

A part is one finished item. A batch is everything in this order.

Use a weighted average filament price for multiple materials. Model grams exclude supports and waste: count each gram once.

02

Keep the printer running

Electricity, machine time and a little room for reprints.

An extra allowance on filament, power and machine time. This is a budget reserve, not a failure probability. See the math ↗

03

Your time & the finishing touches

Hands-on work is a cost, even when you do it yourself.

The quote includes these shipping and other costs in its price. Machine cost should exclude electricity and labor already entered above.

04

Make room for profit

Margin is a share of the selling price, after the costs above and these fees.

Fees use one percentage of the full order price plus one fixed charge. Enter your combined rate; no marketplace fee schedule or sales tax is applied automatically.

Scope & terms

A LITTLE KNOW-HOW GOES A LONG WAY

Field notes for a profitable print.

Six practical reads

Before you send that quote.

Does this read STL, 3MF or G-code?

No. Enter the time and filament values from your slicer for the actual batch. Geometry alone does not determine print time or waste.

What does “profit” include?

The quoted total minus entered production, labor, fulfilment, reserve and selling fees. Taxes and any unentered expenses are excluded. It is an estimate, not your accounting profit.

Can I use multiple currencies?

Choose USD, EUR, GBP, CAD or AUD. All amounts in a job must use that currency. Changing the label does not convert amounts or fetch exchange rates.

Where are my jobs stored?

In this browser’s local storage, including customer details you enter. They are not uploaded or synced. Export important costs; clearing browser data removes drafts and saved jobs.
